Grey Bull Rescue is a Tampa-based, veteran-led, donor-funded 501(c)(3) international rescue organization operating in regions where the U.S. government does not have access or presence.
Our mission is to rescue Americans and allies from conflict zones and war, ensure the safe recovery of children who are victims of human trafficking and kidnapping, and provide rescue and relief operations in response to natural disasters. We have rescued more Americans from denied areas than any organization in history.
Grey Bull Rescue was founded in August 2021 in direct response to the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. Since then, our teams have rescued over 8,000 men, women, children, babies, and even pets from some of the most dangerous environments on earth including Ukraine, Sudan, Afghanistan, Haiti, Israel, Russia, Lebanon, and Syria as well as during domestic disasters such as Hurricane Ian, the Maui and LA wildfires, and Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
Our founder and CEO, Bryan Stern is a multiple-tour combat veteran of the United States Army & Navy, 9/11 First Responder, and Purple Heart Recipient. He has over 27 years of service in and out of uniform focused on intelligence & special operations. He specializes in Counter-Terrorism, Counter-Proliferation, Hostage Rescue & Personnel Recovery, as well as Irregular Warfare against terrorists and peer threats such as Russia, China, Iran and others.
